South Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Centerville, is holding an Inauguration Eve Prayer Service for Our National Leaders Thursday, January 19, at 6:00 p.m. Non-partisan and ecumenical in spirit, this service will be composed of hymns, readings, scriptures, and prayers. This service is inspired by our prayers that our nation’s leaders, including the incoming President, be blessed with a heart of wisdom and compassion and a commitment to liberty and justice for all Americans and that we as citizens will find common ground in the quest for justice and well-being for all Americans despite our varied political and religious perspectives.  To our knowledge, this is the only service of its kind on the Cape, so it is a good opportunity to invite a friend.
