Christianity and the World’s Religions

Beginning April 15 South Congregational Church is sponsoring a series titled, “The Elephant is Running: Christianity and the World’s Religions.”  This event will occur on Wednesdays at 12 noon and 7:00 p.m.   The series consider ways that Christianity is similar to and different from other religious traditions as well as reflect on what persons from other religious traditions can learn from each other. In particular, this open-spirited series will consider Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, Chinese religions, Native American spirituality, and earth-based religions as these relate to the insights of Christian faith, particularly as these relate to understandings of the ultimate reality, human life, salvation, spiritual practices, and the afterlife. This series is free of charge and open to all seekers.

You are always welcome to join us, or invite a friend.

Blessings and joy!
Bruce
