A Vigil to Respond to the Children and Families on the Borderland

Friday, 11:00 a.m., First Baptist Church, Hyannis – Part of a national day of prophetic prayer and concern to ensure that children and families, many of whom are asylum seekers, are treated with respect, compassion, and given humane living conditions.  Regardless of our political perspective, as Christians, we must balance law and order with compassion and respect, seeing God’s presence in the faces of small children separated from their parents and the parents and family members who love them.  Our own Kate Epperly and Maureen Grandmont are participating in this service.
