This year’s confirmation class backpack drive was a big success. $632 in donations were collected to purchase backpacks and supplies for local schools. Thirty-one backpacks were donated and another 10 were purchased. Remaining funds were used to purchase school supplies to fill the backpacks and classroom supplies; supplementing the many supplies that were donated. In all, the confirmation class was able to stock 41 backpacks with school supplies and deliver 10 backpacks each to the following schools: Centerville Elementary, West Villages, Hyannis East Elementary, and Hyannis West Elementary.
