Dear Friends,

In the midst of a time of personal and social upheaval, the Psalmist hears God’s voice, “be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)  Jesus frequently went to deserted places for prayer.  In that spirit, we invite you to join us Saturday from 10:30-12:00 noon for a Workshop on Centering Prayer and Spiritual Affirmations.  This is a great opportunity to deepen your spiritual life as well as to invite people to be share in our congregation’s ministry.

On Sunday, the theme of worship at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. will be “What Does God Look Like?”  Following the fellowship time (approximately 11:35 a.m.), we will conclude our study of the Gospel of Mark.
