Rev. Dr. John Terry
South Congregational Church has called the Rev. Dr. John Terry to be the interim pastor for South Congregational Church. The calling was necessitated by the retirement of The Rev. Dr. Bruce Epperly who served South Congregational Church for the past eight years.
The Rev. Dr. John Terry was born and brought up in Cleveland, Ohio where he was ordained in 1970. He attended Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio, Andover Newton Theological School and New York Theological Seminary. John has served churches in Cleveland, New York, Georgia, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. He began as the Interim Minister at South Church September, 2021. This is his fourth interim. John and his wife Elise live in Centerville with their two White Westhighland Terriers. Their oldest son and family live in West Yarmouth, the youngest son and family in Oregon. John and Elise keep busy with family, gardening and two dogs who will not tolerate being ignored. To be in touch with him you can see him Sunday in church, most mornings in his church office, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
