Our historic steeple clock actually tells the correct time thanks to the efforts South Congregational’s “Keeper of the Clocks,” Howard Taubner. In these photos, taken by Dennis Smith, Howard is inspecting the clock’s “engine” inside the steeple tower which drives all three faces of the clock.
