South Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, Centerville, begins an eight-week seminar “Standin’ In the Need of Prayer: Prayer for Pilgrims and Seekers,” Wednesday, May 3, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Led by Dr. Bruce Epperly, the congregation’s pastor and author of a number of books on theology, scripture, and spirituality, this interactive seminar will focus on themes such as: What is Prayer?, Many Ways to Pray, Healing Prayer, Unanswered Prayer, Prayer and Our Images of God, Prayer for Doubters and Agnostics, Finding Your Own Prayer Style, and Does Prayer Make Any Difference?
